The IAF carried out two waves of strikes across Iran early this morning.

The first wave focused on newly deployed Iranian air-defense systems, including surface-to-air missile batteries around Tehran and in central and western Iran. The systems had been installed in recent weeks to restore capabilities damaged during Operation Roaring Lion.

A second wave targeted energy and industrial infrastructure in southwestern Iran. The IDF says the strikes further expanded the IAF’s freedom of action in Iranian airspace while degrading Iran’s ability to detect and intercept future operations.
