NETANYAHU VOWS: “As Long As I’m Prime Minister, Iran Will Never Have Nuclear Weapons”

Prime Minister Netanyahu says Israel carried out two major operations over the past year to remove what he described as an immediate existential threat from Iran.

Speaking at a memorial ceremony marking 50 years since the death of his brother, Lt. Col. Yoni Netanyahu, Netanyahu also pledged that Israel will remain in its security zone in southern Lebanon for as long as necessary to protect northern residents and the country as a whole.

Addressing Iran’s nuclear program, Netanyahu vowed that regardless of future diplomatic developments, he will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons.

“As long as I am Prime Minister of Israel, it will not happen.”
