The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated Zaki Youssef Mahmoud Abu Mustafa, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad Nukhba commander who participated in the abduction of Yagil Yaakov during the October 7 massacre in Kibbutz Nir Oz.

•⁠ ⁠According to the IDF, Abu Mustafa later helped rebuild the group’s military capabilities in Gaza, advanced attacks against Israeli forces, and attempted to train terrorists at Nasser Hospital.

•⁠ ⁠In a separate strike, Hamas Nukhba terrorist Mohammed Osama Abd al-Aziz Saba al-Eish, who was involved in training and recruiting terrorists, was also eliminated.
