SENATE PASSES SYMBOLIC WAR POWERS RESOLUTION REBUKING TRUMP’S IRAN STRIKES IN 50-48 VOTE

BREAKING: The Senate voted 50-48 to approve a symbolic War Powers Resolution rebuking President Trump’s military action against Iran.

Four Republicans joined Democrats in support: Sens. Rand Paul, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, and Bill Cassidy. Sen. John Fetterman was the lone Democrat to vote against the measure.

The resolution is largely symbolic and is not expected to become law, but it highlights bipartisan divisions in Congress over U.S. involvement in the conflict with Iran.
