Unwilling to throw in the towel, Avi Dichter took his case to the Supreme Court on Tuesday, 7 Shevat, demanding a recount of the votes in the Likud primaries.

The court complied, ordering an immediately recount ahead of the deadline for submitting party lists, midnight Thursday. The recount began immediately, on Tuesday, and the results are in Hotevely’s favor, as she now has the 20th slot and Dichter is pushed to the 26th unrealistic slot in the Likud lineup.
