There is a “new” member whos name is Sacrilege with a “.” at the end: Sacrilege.
Please read the Posters name clearly so as not to confuse the two of us.
“Imitation is the best form of flattery”…. I guess.
October 28, 2010 12:09 am at 12:09 am #704574WIYMemberI noticed. I think its actually very rude and will confuse people.
The saying is “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” But I wouldnt be flattered Id be very unimpressed.

Hey real Sacrilege, where does this *gasp* thing come from. I know of other girls who do it. Is it a girl thing?

Text message? Ive heard girls say it.
October 28, 2010 12:30 pm at 12:30 pm #704586Dr. PepperParticipantSome old timers may remember when the were two people who went by the name Joseph.
During the CRs infancy the title under the screen name was a link to the members’ profile.
As it turns out- one was Joseph and one was Josephf but he somehow kept the “f” invisible.
Both of them haven’t been heard from in a long time.

They say gasp with stars? 😉
I dont say “gasp” when talking, I might gasp and cover my mouth in a factitious manner. I think thats what the *_____* represents.

However, IMHO it was extremely unkind for someone to try and usurp your identity here on YWN. Nonetheless, you are the original and we all know that knockoffs of anything are never as good as the original – and you are the original Sacrilege.

Would you prefer, “egads!”?
October 29, 2010 2:33 am at 2:33 am #704590oomisParticipant“egads”
Nope, because it derives from “Ye gods” (the gods), which of course is avoda zara. (Seems like EVERYTHING lately is A”Z).
