I am trying to become more frum and i need a way to dump my girlfriend. My problem is that im very close to her and its very hard for me just to break it off. Im having doubts if becoming more frum is worth it. can anybody help me???

I think the best way to approach the problem would be to consult with her and tell her that you are trying to become more religious. If she respects your decision then you can continue to have a normal relationship. However if she does not respect your decision then you’re in a quandary. You must decide if you would like to break up with her so that you can better yourself and become “more frum.” If that is really important to you then you will find it easy to break up with her. Anyway, good luck and take the time to think about this. This decision will play a major role in helping to shape your life.

Oh, dear God. Don’t “dump” her because you decide to frum out. Dump her? Seriously? You dump a tramp. You don’t dump someone you love. You can end things with her, without you dumping her.
Merely explain that at this point in life you must go your separate ways. Once you do so, completely cutoff any and all contact. This means deleting her from facebook, no e-mails, calls, texts, etc. Do your best to forget about her.
I’m not sure I support any of this, but hatzlacha to the two of you.

Maybe. It seems like we are attracting many trolls lately. Im just surprised why there arent more normal people posting on the forums. I would think such a forum would have at least 100’s of active members.
just pointing out that jewish guy9 and hanookah are both only members for an hour, both started…interesting threads, with similar thread names, and both posted on the same thread, one after the other, right after they became members.

But the profile for this site overlaps greatly with the people trying to spend less to no time on the internet. Just my opinion.
