Do you have any tips or suggestions on how you make laundry easier for yourself?
dont let it build up do it the same day each week.
Goq, you mean the same hour each day, don’t you.
i do about 4-5 loads of laundry every sunday morning. I bring my laptop open to torahanytime and listen to all the new shiurim i missed from the speakers i like. i look forward to it.
during the week its a load or two a day of the things that cant wait so its no big deal.
We all post anonymously, so I’m not ashamed to tell you this: I have washed darks, whites, and colored laundry together without any ill effects. Maybe twice in my life (I’m 45.) I’ve had a red item stain some whites, but that just taught me to be careful with reds.

Same here. Once a week.
And for the things you need washed before Sunday (ex. baby clothing) just bypass the hamper and put them straight in the washer. No digging through dirty stuff to find what you need when you’re ready to run a load.

Mixing darks, whites and colored. In the wash. Wow.
Makes me wonder what deep dark shocking secrets the other anonymous posters on this site are hiding…
i have mixed colors with whites when pressed for time and it doesn’t really make much of a difference the first few times. If you do it too often the whites will get dull.
I am very excited about my new washing machine that i bought outside of the budget abba_s laid out for me. it is HUGE compared to my old one and even though i am still folding 4-5 loads worth of laundry, i only have to wash about 3. really cool!
