If you are talking about for a man, it would usually refer to someone with a yeshivish-type yeshiva background, but he would be in college and/or working, and in general is more worldly than the typical kollel man. He would likely be into sports and politics, and read the Wall Street Journal, rather than strictly the Hamodia and Yated.
