Interesting story: About 38 years ago on chol hamoed I was (a kid) davening in ( the old) Chaim Berlin- in the ladies section which was about 5 feet up and had a curtain. there were about 20 of us tefillen wearers sitting near the curtain. Suddenly Rav Hutner ztz’l comes in, through the ezras noshim, and surveys the tefillen wearers. He gives a majestic wave with his silver topped cane and in a booming voice announces: “DE ALLE MIT TIFFILLEN ZOL GAIN TZUM ANDRE ZIET FUN EZRAS NOSHIM.”( ALL THOSE WITH TEFFILLIN SHOULD GO TO THE OTHER SIDE IF THE EZRAS NOSHIM). He obviously felt quite strongly about lo sisgodidu!
