I agree that theres a problem looking down on people when youre being machmir. I disagree with the notion that people dislike the chumrah keepers because of this. It does seem from this thread that the main ill feelings towards them are because people feel inferior and afraid they will be looked down at eventually, mixed with a bit of mutated kinas sofrim.
