it actually is a problem according to most. It has something to do with finding out the future, fortune telling, ect. I do know you can say there is a difference, but if you think about it you are trying to find out something that does not need to be known yet. If there is a need for you to know for some medical or other reason, the best thing to do is call your rav. And isn’t is so much nicer when it is a surprise? I always thought that’s the best part!
