It is interesting to note that the Maharsha’s view here is somewhat at odds with his explanation of R’ Nehorai in kiddushin. Additionally, The Be’eiros Hamayim asks on the Maharsha: ??”? ??? ??? ????? ????? ????? ???”? ???”? ????? ?? ????? ???? ????? ???? ??”? ?’ ?????? ???? ??????? ?? ??????? ??”? ?”? ??”? ????? ????? ????? ???? ??????? ??????? ???”? ???? ???’ ??????? ???????? ?????? ?????? ?????? ????? ????”? ????’ ?”? ?? which would accord with Gavra.
