I don’t think it’s a good comparison, because N and A were kohanim, and tzaddikim. They brought an Aish Zara that Hashem did not command. They might have been oveir on Lo Tosif. They were certainly not trying to compete with Hashem (as Nimrod was trying to do, and as I believe was the case with Icarus).
