“I’ve heard this from Gedolim, my friend. Ivrit is a tumah and corrupt language. And it surely is not, lhavdil, Loshon HaKodesh – despite its borrowing a number of words from it (like Yiddish and most other languages in the world have.) “
Sorry, but anyone who says that will have to explain himself after 120 years when Hashem asks him about it. There is not one single word in the Hebrew language that is tamei, except for the actual word “tamei.” By the way, there are a number of words used in Yiddish that are considered as curses or nivul peh, and most of them are uttered by people who are not even frum. I am so saddened to hear you talk about our Holy Tongue like this. I want to know which Gedolim would speak this way to you, since you clearly are not embarrassed by this.
Moishe, just to let you know, a Sefer Torah is not mekabeil tumah so it cannot ever be affected by tumah. It is always tehora, no matter how it is desecrated chas v’sholom.
