The seculars are no longer on a mission to bring the chareidim to become secular. The secularists want the Chareidim to get jobs and to join the army. The secularists want them to get jobs so they don’t have to direct such a large percentage of taxes to a segment that isn’t giving back and they want them to join the army so it won’t only be their children whose lives are at risk.
