Just an Optical Illusion
In colors I’m various
A cameleon in change;
Through stars, crowns and diamonds
I take a wide range:
Then, leaving the treasures
Of nobles and kings,
I turn me to flowers,
And humbler things.
I’m uniform always
And that you’ll think strange;
For one so capricious,
An instant will change.
What am I?
