Once you give smicha what’s to stop them from calling themselves and being rabbis any less than a male with smicha is entitled to call himself and be a rabbi? I don’t know what backlash R’ Riskin got on this issue but he certainly got a lot of backlash, to put it nicely, when he called the xtian deity a model rabbi and said we need to resurrect g-d.
