On your second post, most immigrant in years gone by wanted to integrate into society. They retained their old languages but also learned english, so they were able to function in society. The multi-cultural mentality keeps people divided in every way with no assimilation into what was formerly the American culture. Like divide and conquer.
I saw this first hand in my former community and the result wasn’t pretty.
They won’t forget spanish by learning english.
