How can you even think of comparing modern orthodoxy with chabad. chabad is a chasidic movement. solidly so. women cover their heads, men wear black hats constantly. chicldren go to separate schools and are taught Torah in yiddish. most chabad families strive to speak yiddish to the children. please, in almost every custom and tradition, chabad is so different. chabad’s only issue different than other chasidic sects is that they are so very accepting of non-frum jews and don’t push them into becoming frum. rather they allow the non-frum jews to proceed at their own speed towards becoming baalei teshuva. but modern chabad is not.
