Trump is now at 316 delegates, Cruz at 226, Rubio at 106.
The main concern I have is a brokered convention. Trump needs to win big if he wants to be the nominee. He needs to get over 50% in upcoming states in order to really reel in the delegates. Otherwise, the establishment will bamboozle him with the prospect of a Cruz/Rubio ticket.
Trump needs more big name endorsements, more substantive rhetoric and policies, and he needs to rally big time in states with high delegate counts. He didn’t campaign at all in Texas, Oklahoma, Alaska, or Minnesota. Texas would have been a wise choice for him to campaign heavily in. Oh well…
