New York grants annulments under five different scenarios.
1. Either spouse in incurably unable to consummate
2. Either spouse was not 18 st time of marriage
3. Either spouse was mentally insane
4. Either spouse could not give actual consent or understand the nature and consequence of marriage due to mental incapacity or deficiency
5. Either spouses consent to marriage was obtained by force, duress or fraud
