2scents:- Nothing whatsoever to do with sugar. I drink plenty sweet wine. It is solely to do with acid content, and for same reason hence that I don’t drink orange juice.
Grape Juice is nothing short of a fruit juice full of acid, but alcohol in wine kills the acid.
