The main impediment to Jewish immigration was your hero, FDR, yemach shemo. The Democrats had large majorities in both houses of Congress for nearly all of his twelve years in office and could have opened the gates to Europe’s Jews. His anti-Semitic administration wouldn’t even meet with the hundreds of Rabbis who came to Washington in 1943 to plead their cause. FDR was perfectly happy to watch six million Jews reduced to ash and he’s now suffering the same fate for all eternity.
