For example, what kind of car to buy and whether or not to accept the offer of financing deal to by an apartment (some years ago, in a major blow for the idea of DT, a contractor went bankrupt leaving Chareidi buyers who listened to rabbanim and accepted a discount in return for giving up the usual bank guarantees in the lurch).
