He was immediately rebuked by his own party.Not to mention that there are two yeshivot gehohot in TA (one in the north and one in the south) which are doing great kiruv work. As for when Israel will be majority observant, it will not be in ten years unless you count those who make kidush and hamoetzi on leil Shabbat, have a formal family meal and then watch TV. However, it will not be long.
