DaMoshe, to clarify what R’ Salomon said, it’s not that Kupat Ha’ir is one of those charities with high fundraising costs as one might expect given the ubiquity of their ads. He objects to their claims that if you give them enough money, your troubles will be solved. He thinks they’re exploiting vulnerable people.
