Such a smart thing to do! Once I was at a Rosh Chodesh and a lady said something really mean to me in front of everyone. It was insensitive and I don’t remember exactly what it was, but she was almost oblivious about it. The rebbetzin just stared speechless.
I didn’t respond, not because I was being intentionally polite, but I too was speechless. Afterward the rebbetzin complimented me on how I remained calm (again I was stunned and had no words). That alone did make me feel good(!) It def would have been a cool moment for someone to ask for a bracha.
Again… good, actually great to know.
A+ for implementing Torah into action 🙂
