If your aim is to build strength or muscle (as opposed to cardio exercise), it’s very hard to do without getting caught up in “worshipping” your body. Just be aware that you would be treading on a slippery slope. As an aside, recent studies have shown that too much strenuous exercise is bad for your teeth and cardiovascular system. As these studies are preliminary there are no hard numbers yet on how long or how intense you can safely exercise. This will likely not be an issue for you, but it is something to keep in mind if you find yourself becoming hardcore.
