The blog is talking about the toxicity to the vegetables grown in the garden which was filtered twice once by the earth and then by the plant so the degree of toxicity is lessened. Boiling generates a much higher level of toxicity. As far as it being Kosher for Passover as previously stated the newspaper inks are toxic and Should Not be in Contact with Food as the ink will be absorbed in the food nor should newspaper be eaten seperately.
