Yes, expatriots vote in the last state they lived in. I always wondered about the next generation- the children who get US citizenship because their parents are citizens, but were born outside the US and never lived there. As citizens they should have the right to vote. Do they take on the state of their parents? Which one? Actually, it’s a bit strange that someone who never lived in a country can vote; on the other hand, since laws made there do affect them, I guess they should have a right to chose the lawmakers.
