Lightbrite, there are 2 separate issues- one is going to the police to report someone who may be dangerous, and the other, which is the topic of conversation here, is whether one can sit on the jury hearing this guy’s case. In the former, if the victim does not report him, or press charges, he may very well get away with harming more people. In the latter, the case will go on whether or not the frum Jew sits on the jury.
