Because in Europe it was a good idea. Now the kids are choking/drowning but nobody really cares. And most parents are too stupid/incompetent to know what to do with their kids so they are happy when their kids have no down time, even if they are drowning. But that’s just my own personal/humble opinion, it’s not like the question hit a nerve or anything.
