They’re both trying to make money. They’re both using tactics which they think will ultimately be best for their bottom lines.
I love the way the commenters all think they know how much money the grocers and publishers are making, and think that somehow, if they are making a lot of money, that’s a crime.
There’s competition in both, and as far as I’m concerned, as long as they act within the bounds of halachah (including dina d’malchusa), I don’t have any taynas on them, although my own best interest is the lowest possible prices.
