Is this a redundancy?

How do you feel about “young boy”? It’s redundant but sounds better in a story than boy. Then again, there could be an older boy or a young[er] boy.

To take advantage does not have to be so bad, I guess. If someone’s yetzar hara ran wild, then yes.

Thus… I think that I answered my question.

“When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.”

It was not redundant. It was specific.
