Regarding the situation at hand, while it may be true that in some cases it is possible to believe that the people who are insulting me are not doing so intentionally, that is only possible if they either are less intelligent or don’t have the same level of social skills or are lacking knowledge of the relevant halachos. Again, these things do not reflect on their objectiveness goodness and may in fact be a proof that they are objectively better people than I may have thought at first.
