J Root radio is a 100% illegal radio station creating an unprecedented chillul hashem. They are operating on the radio without any license by the FCC whatsoever. They have been raided by the FCC at least once, maybe twice.
Why leading rabbonim such as Rabbi Moshe Tuvia Lief, Rabbi Reisman and many many others allow their Shiurim to be played there is beyond human comprehension.

These rabbonim must be aware of the psak that rav Chaim Kanievskey made; If one parks in a handicapped parking space and runs into a shul and davens Shacharis he MUST DAVEN AGAIN! Imagine what a mitzvah haba’ah biaveira this station is. Broadcasting over stations that pay tens of thousands of dollars a MONTH to the FCC and the station owners in fees. And some jew comes along and cuts out their listeners by illegal broadcasting. Simply disgusting.
What ever happened to dina d’malchusa dina? Why are people encouraging illeagle behavior? Can anyone give a valid answer? Because some Breslov sefardi baal teshuva (whom I wish only the best for) decides that since in Israel everyone has pirated radio stations – then we must be allowed to have one in Brooklyn also illegally?!
