Along the Maggid’s Journey (R’ Paysach Krohn) quotes it from Rav Yitzchok Elchonon (Spektor),
although it’s possible that it originated with someone else. (I think it might be attributed to a third source
in one of R’ Dovid Kaplan’s Impact! books.)
