iacisrmma – if a peanut ban was the only solution, I might (but I doubt it) feel differently. There are too many options, working options IN PLACE, that do not involve requiring hundreds of kids to make changes to their food. Why refuse to try things that work? Why refuse to try ways that are proven to accommodate every student instead of just one or two? And here’s a newsflash – many times ( it may even be most) the peanut emergency is NOT because of a missing ban but rather an ignorant, uninformed, poorly trained or irresponsible adult.
