SG: None of my other children were burnt out at 10….Do you actually have children of your own? Or just someone who is totally clueless?
Do I or any other parent have to wait and fight not only other yeshiva parents but public school parents in late August and early September?
We took one Sunday morning (the seventh Sunday since school finished) to shop for his supplies (since his school lets the parents know in advance what to buy).
Vacation…..the whole summer when he is in day camp and doesn’t come home to do homework. Almost every parent shops for school during the summer months (at least for the basics) when they are on sale. Every Sunday has been either going to parks or other child related activities.
