Wow. I’m a bit offended by the whole “led like sheep to a slaughter,” because that’s a great misconception about what happened. That said, at least right now in my life, I have more pressing priorities and basic needs to meet before thinking about investing in arming myself.

How realistic is survival if one shoots? Won’t someone else just come after? And then someone else? Or one could get a hurt in the process and then what? Go to the hospital where it’s also not safe?

I feel like hiding, moving, and/or changing one’s identity would be less risky in the long-term.
