If you look at Orthodox majority voting districts in presidential elections, not just 2016 but any presidential election in the last 30 years, if you didn’t know those districts were in New York or New Jersey, you’d be sure you were looking at voting results in a deep red state in the heart of Texas or Alabama, as the results are heavily Republican.
