Any serious study of the tcheiles that is available now, leads to the conclusion that it is the real thing, and it should be worn by everybody. All the questions have already been answered (see Levush Ha’aron by Rav Hellman) and the the silence is deafening. What we need is more people to start wearing it in public (many talmidei chachomim wear it underneath) so that it becomes more accepted, and we reach a tipping point where it becomes the normal and accepted thing to do.
