They give free ready-to-eat food samples in places like Costco and Pomegranate. So why not Ikea?
Those are samples of their wares, intended to encourage the purchase of more of the
sampled item. That reason does not apply when a furniture store serves food. (However,
another reason is of course to encourage people to enter the store, and this does apply.)
