takah: That’s a oft-heard response from MO/DL. The only way to define MO/DL as “centrist” (a common self-definition), is to include the non-frum in their consideration of “left/liberal”. Because within the frum spectrum MO/DL are the left-wing flank. Any further left is outside the frum world.
