Yet look up the definition of “brood” which precedes it in that sentence, and it seems the children hatch like chickens. Maybe in Mitzrayim, but now we struggle with child bearing and raising our kids, we do it consciously and with self sacrifice and at the very least it shouldn’t be denigrated.
