Oh! RebYidd23 I have read many of your posts and I am surprised by this one that you really believe that Ret— use is intensive, REALLY. I quote “If people are brave enough to face the social stigma to use this very special, expressive word, it is simply rude to stop them.” I expected better from you but we all live and learn. Thank G-d you do not have a mentally challenged child (if you are old enough) or a sibling if not. Here is the definition of the noun Moron: Early 20th century (as a medical term denoting an adult with a mental age of about 8–12): from Greek mōron, neuter of mōros ‘foolish’. Not quite the same as reta—- But anyway have at it and thank Hashem every day that you find no offence because it has not impacted your life so far.
