The fact that you single out Ashkenazi pronunciation for rebuke rather than Teimani or authentic Sphardi (which also aren’t the same as Israeli) is just indicative of the fact that the early Zionists were self-hating Ashkenazim who instilled that school of thought in their movement for generations.
