I’ve come to the conclusion that Dooms is actually a religious missionary. She uses the same tactics of saying the same nonsense over and over and over again in the hopes that somebody will believe it (or more likely trying to convince herself!)! I read her posts because I find them so amusing. As someone who has been involved in science my whole life it’s entertaining to see how facts, data, and statistics can be so badly botched up. I’ve recommended in previous posts that she take a basic science or statistics course but she doesn’t have the time because she spends all her time writing gibberish. I enjoy hearing her try to discredit the Danish study – the study was very well-done and had international experts review it. For some reason, she thinks I’m going to
Listen to her instead of credible knowledgeable scientists. HaHa! Again, she is very entertaining. What is NOT entertaining is seeing the news about the 10 year old unvaccinated boy who got encephalitis in Emanuel and is likely to be brain damaged as a result of this common complication of measles which vaccines prevent. I hope those parents are locked up and their children taken away from them for this abuse. Somehow, these anti-vaxxers seem to think that they have the right to do whatever they want with their children-obviously that is not the case either according to Halacha or secular law. Parents who abuse their children have them taken away. Some states (May there be many more) have convicted non-vaccinating parents for medical neglect in the child welfare system. We all need to write to our congressmen to implore them to strengthen the laws against parents who abuse their children in this way to ensure that all children are vaccinated and do away with religious exemptions (given that anti-vaxxers in our community are lying and calling their position “religious,” when we all know it has nothing to do with religion- what a chillul Hashem !) leaving only PROVEN VERIFIED medical reasons to allow for exemption from vaccination. I would hate to see all these poor abused unvaccinated children suffer by being isolated from peers and home-schooled but at least that would keep them from spreading disease in our community.
