To add to my previous post I think my memories wouldn’t change my future (and my present too) which I feel is what matters in life
The past is gone therefore unchangeable the present or future can be changed
Take the birth of my oldest, I fed him first with him looking up at me with those baby eyes, how does that affect my life right now? It doesn’t! Do I love him any more than my other son who I didn’t feed first? No! So this good memory has no bearing on my present life whatsoever
